We have to build good habits for the long term success of our life. In this article, you will find five good habits to change your life.

As humans, we are not able to practice habits in a short period of time. That means. Changing your life in a day is not a realistic goal, and it will not stay for a long time.

But when you consistent with a good habit, it will become your hobby. So check those five good habits and try to add them to your daily routine.

Good Habits, 01. Daily Exercise

Go to the gym- Good Personal Habits

You have to do some kind of moment every day. It will help to improve and maintain your mental and physical health.

Most of the time, you will be less productive and less motivated when you live a lazy lifestyle without doing any kind of exercise.

You don’t need to go to the gym every day and start weightlifting to spend a healthy lifestyle. Also, you don’t need to get a gym membership to perform the exercises.




There have a lot of exercises that can perform without a gym. Always try to find and simple workout schedule.

As example,

  • Walk for 15 min around the park or on the road
  • Do some jumping jacks, pushup sit-ups or chin up
  • Even you can do a simple activity like clean your room, wash your clothes, and walk to the shop or your workplace.

Those are the easy ways to make some movement. You don’t need any kind of gym equipment to perform those exercises.

It is better to do some kind of movement and avoid a lazy lifestyle. So try to add this good habit to your daily routine.

Good Habits, 02. Drink More Water

Water is the best thing to increase your skin health. Also, water will help you to prevent the dryness of your body. A lot of times we forget to drink water. That is a really bad habit. It will affect our kidneys and general health.

Drink more water throughout the day is the best way to stay healthy.

2-4 liters is the daily average water intake for an adult person. You have to drink at least 2 liters of water for a day.

In the short term, you will not see it as a good habit, or you will not see the huge health benefits of drinking water. But if you practice drinking more water habit, you will saw the real result in like 1-2 decades.

At first, it is not too easy to drink more water. It may feel really uncomfortable, and you will forget to drink water. So you can keep a bottle of water near you. When you saw the water bottle, try to drink water.

When you do this for a few months, you will build this good habit without knowing about it.

Good Habits, 03. Read Books

Read books

We have to face a lot of obstacles in our day to day life. These obstacles will affect the success of our future.

But the good news is, a lot of people already faced those obstacles and already got the experience. Then some of them wrote books about those obstacles and showed the way to overcome those obstacles.

When you read those kinds of books, you will grab knowledge to improve your life and overcome the obstacles by yourself.

Basically, you can get the lifetime experience of those people within a few hours by reading their books. Read book is a good and vice habit. Those books will help you to be the better version of yourself.

If you check the daily routine of successful people, they dedicate specific time to read books.

I suggest you, read 30 minutes a day. That is a better way to read books without overloading. Also, you can listen to audiobooks. Listings to audiobooks are really fun and easy to understand.

You will not get bored when you are listing to audiobooks. You can listen to audiobooks while you are driving or do other work.




Good Habits, 04. Manage To-Do List

Manage to-do list is the best way to manage your work and complete high priority tasks. I will give you the best way to create a to-do list.

When you wake up, note down four high priority works and try to complete that work before the end of the day.

This is a very powerful way to finish your works. You will end up without doing anything when you start working without managing that work. But when you list down high priority tasks, you will able to finish those works without making any distractions.

This is my number one thing to finish my work without stuck in one task. I already shared the benefits of the manage to-do list in my posts.

Also, I highly recommend this method to anyone who wants to succeed.

Good Habits, 05. Quit Social Media

Social media is the number one thing to waste our time. Some people use social media without any limitations.

We can use social media to improve our life. But most of the time, we use social media to waste our time by scroll up and down.

When we scroll down, we will see new stuff. Then we scroll down again and again. Basically, waste our time by scrolling.

It feels so good to scroll down and check new stuff on social media. When we do it, our brain generates a chemical called dopamine. That hormone is related to the pleasure of our brain.

Over time, we unconsciously use social media to get that pleasure again and again.

Then it becomes a bad habit. When you do it for a long time, it will become a bad hobby.

Try to quit social media for one week. It may hard for the first time. But you will be able to save a lot of time in your day.

Quitting social media is the best habit, and you should follow it for long term success.

But there have some issues. For example, if you quit Facebook. You will do it for a few weeks and switch to Instagram. If you quit Instagram, you may switch to YouTube.

So this pattern will never end, and you will not be able to quit social media.

Also, don’t try to add those all habits at once to your life. Try to add one habit and stay at least 22 days after that, then add another habit to your life.

If you try to add those five habits at once, you will not practice any of those habits.

Always remember, you have to be consistent with that habit. If you do it for a few days, you will not be able to add it to your daily routine.
