List of Bad Habits - Stop Those Bad Habits for Good

In our regular day to day life, we do things that kill our productivity and long term goal. We get instant gratification when we do those things. So our brain adapts to those bad habits as I told before those habits will affect the success of our long-term goal. In this post, I share a list of bad habits.

In other words, I will shear the six most common bad habits we do, and the issues with those bad habits.

01. Watch Inappropriate Videos

That is the first thing we must eliminate from our life. We feel good when watching inappropriate videos. But it has a lot of adverse effects. I will list all the negatives below.

When you addicted to watching those kinds of videos, you will not want to get experience with a real human because that is not as easy as a click of a button and watch it.

You have to approach someone and hang out with them, and you have to do all hard and uncomfortable stuff. Then you will get that thing you want.

But there is an easy way. Go in front of your computer and click some buttons to go to your favorite website and watch it.




So I think you get an idea about the negative effect of watching those videos. Also, check below the adverse effects too.

  • When you watch inappropriate things, you can open a lot of tabs and watch 5-10 stars (women) at one time, and the cameras are pointing to the best angle. So when you get real-life experience with a woman, you will not get the same experience as you get by watching them. So this will become a more significant issue for your life.
  • When you watch them, you will waste a lot of time. So at the end of the day, you will achieve anything. Also, your energy levels dropped.

A lot of people, including me, experience more confidence after quit watching those videos. I saved energy and a lot of time when I stop this habit. Also, when I go to a social situation, I have more confidence and self-steam. If you are watching them, try to quit it for one week. You will see apparent differences.

02. Scrolling Social Media

In present-day, we all use social media for fun, and business promotes our product and service. But most of the times a lot of people scroll up and down mindlessly.

Some people try to get more likes and comments on their photos. So they add a comment and like to other people’s profiles. It is the best way to getting validation from others. So they waste their time to make other peoples like about them.

Also, another kind of people makes a distraction by scrolling up and down in social media. They never go to real-world social events, and they try to entertain by social media. They end up wasting their lifetime on social media. That is bad for their lifestyle.

Also, sometimes social media make you feel alone and miserable.

The reason form that, when someone posts a photo with their girlfriend or car, it will make sad about a person who lazy and waste his time on social media. He/she never set goals and achieve them. Only do scrolling mindlessly in social media. So when he/she saw some images of his friend of someone, they feel sad about themselves.

That is another big bad habit you should cut out of your life.

03. Escape From Reality.

A lot of peoples playing games, and watches TV-Series for the whole day. They live in that game or TV-Series, and they try to be the hero in that game, but in reality, they are time waster who does some useless work.

So a lot of teenagers try to escape their reality by playing games. That people waste times hours and hours in their lifetime by playing the game.

Also, watching long TV-Series are another terrible thing to productivity. When someone watches TV-Series, they waste their time. After watching it, they imagine being a character of that TV-Series in real life. Finally, they end up killing their future success.

I do not say you must cut out all the games and TV-Series. But you have to set time to watch or play them. So when you set time like one hour or two hours, you will be able to work for yourself and entertain by watching those things.

Also, some people make their full-time income by playing games. That is another right way to develop your financial situation.

Try to live in the real world and make goals are crucial to success.

04. Not Getting Enough Sleep

Sleep is essential to our life. Lack of sleeping can cause a lot of issues. Studies have shown the age between 18-64 people should get between 7-9 hours of sleep.




That is another bad habit we need to stop from our list of bad habits.

Lack of sleep can reduce your productivity, and it will affect to increase stress. Also, studies shown lack of sleep can impair memory.

So you have to sleep at least 7 hours. It will help you to spend a productive day. Also getting proper sleep will help to live a long life.

A lot of guys does not get enough sleep. Reason for that is watching tv series or scroll social media on the bed. Also, some people get drugs and alcohol at night time.

Those cases will prevent getting enough sleep.  Try to sleep around 9.00 PM-10.00 PM and wake up between 5.00 AM -6.00 AM. That is the best time to get good sleep.

Try to sleep 8 hours per week. You will see a clear difference.

05. Make Excuses

Make excuses is the most horrible bad habit we all need to get rid of our life. We all try to make excuses when we face an uncomfortable situation. So we never become a person who wants to be.

We all want to be a success. But most of us don’t want to work to achieve success. So we make excuses like,

I don’t have,

  • Time
  • Knowledge
  • Energy
  • Money

We keep making excuses. Not only that we try to prove that excuses by making more excuses. And finally, We skip our work.

Most of the time we try to say,

  • Tomorrow I will do it.
  • Today is not feeling good.
  • Tomorrow will better than today.

So this making excuses mindset will kill your productivity. You have to stop this bad habit, and you have to face the obstacles without making excuses.

You will be unstoppable when you stop making excuses and build healthy mindset. So do not make excuses.

06. Complaining

Complaining is another bad habit, and it will waste your time. You must understand you have to get full responsibility for your action. Also, you can’t change other people. Only you can change yourself. So if someone does something you don’t like. You have to forget it and move on.

By complaining you will not achieve anything. Only you waste your time and energy. If something there has you don’t like or something you don’t want. Try to change it by action without complaining about it.

We have everything you want around us. But we don’t appreciate those things and get work from those things. So we start to complain about everything and try to reject our work.




As I told before, you have to full responsibility for your action. You are the creator of your world. So you have to work to create your world without complaining. Because you have an entire thing, you need.
